fashion, they often simulate the natural movements placed on the body
during real life activities. Programmed resistance exercise of this
type has been termed "functional" strength training and has become
an important part of many conditioning routines. The ICARIAN FTS Personal
Training Workstation is a highly flexible apparatus that is ideal
for this type of training. The number of exercises that can be performed
in the Personal Trainer are really only limited by the imagination
of the user. Literally dozens of upper and lower body exercise can
be created. In fact, the unit is so flexible that a total-body workout
can be accomplished using the FTS alone. The Personal Trainer is of
the highest commercial quality construction. The unit incorporates
a time-tested, durable, cable and pulley design for application of
resistance and is captured inside our signature 2"x4" bent steel frame
construction. The adjustable housings permit the user freedom to orient
the direction of resistance as appropriate for the exercise being
performed. The adjustments are intuitive, simple and easy to use.
As with all the FTS units, the Personal Trainer is space efficient,
designed to be no larger than the working space required to perform
most of the exercises. A comfortable fit in virtually any environment
